Koh Tao or "Turtle Island" is located at a distance of 60 km to the north of Koh Samui. Koh Tao is often called the pearl of the Gulf of Thailand. In the North West of Koh Tao, a kilometer away from it is a small island Koh Nang Yuan - the hallmark of southern Thailand.

The total length of the coral reefs located in the coastal waters is more than 8 kilometers. Some coral reefs have shallow depths and creating a great place for snorkeling.
Ang Thong National Marine Park is composed of the 42 amazingly beautiful islands covered with primeval jungle. It's name translated from Thai means "The Golden Bowl". Marine Park is located in 30 km to the west of the island of Koh Samui and is the most popular destination for sea cruises.
Koh Phangan is the largest neighbour of Koh Samui located just in 12 km to the north. Koh Phangan fame acquired through large Open Air disco "Full Moon Party" which takes place every month on Haad Rin beach. However, apart from this Koh Phangan has numerous deserted beaches looks like lost tropical paradise.

Koh Paluay is one of the most beautiful and lost islands of the marine national park. It is absolutely environmentally friendly - there is not even electricity, and the local population uses the energy of the sun using solar panels. Electricity is available from 06.30 am to 06.30 pm. Works mobile Internet. It consists of two parts: the northern part is the territory of the national park.
South – inhabited, consisting of three villages (marked on the map as Village 1, 2, 3). About 200 families live here (about five hundred people). The main occupation of local residents is fishing. There are 2 piers on the island: the south, where regular ships arrive from Donsak on even days (village 2) and the west, where regular ships arrive from Donsak on odd days (village 3). The island has two large tourist restaurants: “The Number One” in the south and “Paluay Seafood” on the west coast. Also, on the island there is a school, police station, point of care, shop.

You can get to the island either on a regular boat from Donsak (the most economical option). Departure daily at 13.00 from Donsak, near the market. Please note that for even and odd days there are different piers located close to each other. Return flight from the island at 7 am. One-way ticket for a foreigner is 200 Baht. Or by speedboat from Koh Samui. You will have a full day tour of the national park, at the end of which will be the last stop on about 1.5 hours at Koh Paluay for lunch, rest and kayaking.
The transfer will take you to the resort after lunch and the next (or next days) will deliver to the place of departure of the speedboat for the return transfer (approximately at 15.00) or, if desired, for lunch at the restaurant “The Number One” by 13.00. If after the tour to Angthong marine park you are not going to return to Koh Samui, you can book a one-way tour on a speedboat, and return on a regular boat to Donsak
Angthong Beach Resort
Very cozy and beautiful resort, located right on the beach. It consists of five wooden bungalows and five Deluxe rooms (they are grouped into two houses – the first with two rooms, and the second with three, which is very convenient for families). Very comfortable and green resort, the first on Koh Paluay. The restaurant is located on the beach, and seven wooden spacious bungalows overlooking the sea across the road (there is almost no traffic on Koh Paluay, so it is very quiet). Each bungalow (34 m2) – with its own spacious terrace with a table. The room has two large double beds. Maximum occupancy – 4 people. Each room has a shower and a toilet with washing facilities and towels. In the room – the fan. Breakfast to choose from – Asian or American.

09:00 Journey by speed boat to our snorkeling site around Koh Wao
09:30 Spending time at Koh Wao admiring the beauty of the underwater world & watch the friendly marine life from above. Koh Wao is in the northern most part of Angthong Marine Park and remains much quieter than the snorkeling sites around busier Koh Tao. There is a variety of soft corals, fascinating underwater caves and swim-through’s around Koh Wao, formed over centuries of coastal erosion, which you can explore during your time snorkeling. There is a huge diversity of marine life due to Ang Thong’s protected status as a national park, which provides a fantastic opportunity for taking some underwater pictures.
10:30 Cruise around the marine park with stops
10:50 Emerald lake and viewpoint on Koh Mae Ko. Koh Mae Koh, or Mother Island, is the next stop after Koh Wao and cruising through some in our speed boat. Koh Mae Koh boasts the beautiful emerald lake, an inland salt water lake, and a sensational view point over the whole marine park.
12:00 Thai buffet lunch at the restaurant in the traditional Thai fishing village on Koh Paluay. After spending some time on Koh Mae Koh, you will board the speed boat once again to Koh Paluay, the only inhabited island of Ang Thong National Marine Park. Here you will have lunch in a traditional, working fishing village. After lunch you will have the chance to explore the village and interact with the friendly locals.
13:30 Kayaking or relaxation on the beach on Song Pee Nong beach. Song Pee Nong beach is our next stop where you will have plenty of time to relax on the beach and explore the rugged coastline of Koh Paluay by sea kayak, where you may find a couple of hidden caves amongst the granite overhangs.
