We were looking for a small group tour to Angthong National Marine Park, to include snorkeling & kayaking.. our hotel's first choice was fully booked then they remembered there was a new company: Happy Samui. we were hesitant at first as there weren't many reviews but we decided to try it - and boy are we glad we signed up!
The tour started at 9:00 and was for a max 16 people but our group was only 7 which was great (+our group was super fun!). our shuttle arrived on time and we were on our way to the speed boat.. a beautiful (~1 hour) boat ride later we arrived to our snorkeling spot.. the equipment they provided was great, and that day the water was clear, still, and with LOTS of fish.
The great thing about the small group tours is they have the flexibility to change their schedule.. our guide Khing knew where the larger boats were off to so we changed our itinerary to give us a bit more privacy... we then went to kayak the "caves" which was super cool! after the quick kayaking exploration we were off to climb/explore the emerald lagoon.. timing was perfect for this! all the large groups were finishing and we had the place to ourselves..
lastly we went for lunch at a lovely restaurant, and then sadly on our way back to the mainland..
Khing and his crew were so amazing & our day would not have been as good without them. i would highly recommend Happy Samui if you are looking for a memorable journey in Koh Samui.
This was the best tour we have ever been on. The speed boat was in immaculate condition with only 7 passengers on board. It was like having a private charter. The crew was attentive, the tour guide informative and the places we visited spectacular. My husband and I travel four times a year, visiting places all over the world. This tour fulfilled our expectations beyond anything we imagined.
The pick up was on time, the arrival at the marine professional, the safety conditions impeccable, the lunch exclusive ( catering even for my anaphylaxis limitations) and the total experience to die for. I highly recommended that anyone wanting to see the islands and more to take this tour without any hesitations. I will be back and I will take this tour again.
